Hong Kong, May 16, 2025​ — Guofu Hydrogen Energy (HK) Development Co., Ltd. celebrated its grand opening at its office in the Bank of America Tower, Central Hong Kong. The ceremony was attended by Mr. Wu Pinfang, Chairman of Guofu Hydrogen Energy Equipment Co., Ltd. (Guofuhee); Ms. Wang Ping, Director of Guofu(HK); Ms. Wang Chao, General Manager of Guofu (HK); alongside distinguished guests including Legislative Council Member Mr. Lau Kwok-fan, Assistant Director of the Electrical and Mechanical Services Department Mr. Wang Lei, Assistant Director of InvestHK Mr. Liu Zhiyuan, OASES Deputy Director Mr. Leung Hoi-wing, as well as representatives from the Construction Industry Council, Sinopec (HK), Shining Capital, BOCI, and other industry leaders.

In his speech, Legislative Council Member Mr. Lau Kwok-fan emphasized, "As the world accelerates its transition to a low-carbon economy, Hong Kong is actively advancing sustainable development and green energy technologies. Guofuhee’s establishment of its international headquarters here underscores commitment to green tech and strengthens its role as a bridge linking mainland China with global markets in Hong Kong. We hope Guofu Hydrogen will leverage its strengths, seize opportunities in Hong Kong’s hydrogen sector, and collaborate closely with the government and industry to pioneer innovation in this field."

Chairman Wu Pinfang stated, "Hong Kong, as a global financial and innovation hub, provides a strategic foothold for technological advancement and global expansion of Guofuhee. As one of the key enterprises introduced by the Hong Kong SAR Government, we will utilize this international platform to accelerate international certification of core technologies like liquid hydrogen storage and green hydrogen production, while fostering cross-border collaboration in transportation, energy, and industrial applications to drive global low-carbon energy transition."

Hong Kong serves as a pivotal international strategic base for Guofuhee, connecting mainland China with global markets. The launch of its Hong Kong subsidiary further advances the strategy of "North-South collaboration and domestic-international synergy for Guofuhee."

Guofuhee will accelerate its global expansion, leveraging Hong Kong’s strengths in finance and innovation to build an integrated ecosystem spanning "R&D – manufacturing – application." Through technological innovation and open collaboration, the company aims to empower green development and contribute to a high-quality growth for the global hydrogen industry.
