Jiangsu Guofu Hydrogen Energy Equipment Co., Ltd. (Guofuhee) and The Hong Kong and China Gas Company Limited (Towngas) signed a strategic cooperation agreement on March 28. The two parties will engage in in-depth collaboration focusing on green hydrogen supply, liquid hydrogen applications, hydrogen blending in city gas, and green methanol production. Leveraging the markets of Hong Kong and multiple regions in mainland China as pivots, they aim to jointly explore commercialization pathways for hydrogen energy. This collaboration will inject new momentum into the technological implementation and global expansion of Guofuhee. This collaboration closely aligns with "Dual Carbon" strategy of China, highlighting the leading position in the fields of hydrogen energy core equipment and green hydrogen supply for Guofuhee. As the industry leader with the largest market share in the mainland's hydrogen refueling station market for five consecutive years, Guofuhee will explore multifaceted cooperation with Towngas. This includes Guofuhee providing internationally certified (ISO, ASTM, etc.) green hydrogen resources through its renewable energy-based hydrogen production base in Inner Mongolia. In the mainland market, the two parties are targeting technological upgrades in hydrogen blending for city gas. Guofuhee will leverage its customized green hydrogen transmission and distribution solutions to support the establishment of hydrogen blending and usage scenarios by city gas companies under Towngas, gradually expanding the application of hydrogen in urban gas systems. Notably, both parties will actively explore utilizing green hydrogen resources from Inner Mongolia to advance the development of green methanol production capacity, further extending hydrogen’s applications across different value chains. Guofu Hydrogen Energy (Hong Kong) Development Co., Ltd., as the core executing entity, will rely on international platform to coordinate the export of liquid hydrogen technology and project implementation in Hong Kong, accelerating the global layout of the industrial chain. This collaboration benefits Guofuhee in two key ways. Visit to Sarawak - Guofuhee Develops High-Quality Development of Hydrogen Industry in Southeast Asia

On April 10, 2025, Mr. Wu Pinfang, Chairman of Guofuhee, led a delegation to Sarawak, Malaysia, for in-depth discussions with local government officials and industry representatives on high-quality development and deep cooperation in the hydrogen energy sector. Guofuhee South American Green Hydrogen Equipment Base - Selected for Chilean Local Manufacturing Incentives

The Chilean electrolyzer manufacturing base project, jointly undertaken by Guofu Hydrogen Energy Brazil (Guofuhee Brazil) and Chilean company Fastpack SA as part of the Hypack Chile consortium, has been successfully selected for the Corfo "Electrolyzer and Component Localization Manufacturing Program" grant list. According to the official announcement released by Chilean Production Development Corporation (Corfo), the project will receive $6 million in funding from the Chilean government fund, supplemented by $4 million in capital raised by the corporate consortium. The project will establish the first green hydrogen equipment manufacturing base in South America in the Santiago Metropolitan Region and will be integrated into 12.8 GW Green Hydrogen Megaproject planning system in Chile. Leveraging its technical expertise in electrolyzers and the localized engineering design and solutions team at Guofuhee Brazil, Guofu Hydrogen Energy Equipment Co., Ltd. (Guofuhee) is partnering with Fastpack SA—a 30-year veteran in industrial automation and fluid control technologies—to build the electrolyzer manufacturing base. The project will enable localized assembly of alkaline (ALK) and proton exchange membrane (PEM) electrolyzer systems while promoting the domestic production of separation and purification systems. This effort will achieve vertical integration, spanning from core components to system integration. Scheduled to commence operations by mid-2026, the project is expected to create 200 to 450 indirect jobs locally. Corfo has allocated $25.6 million to fund three consortium projects under the "Electrolyzer and Component Localization Manufacturing Plan," aiming to accelerate local manufacturing capabilities for electrolyzers and reduce reliance on imported equipment.
