GUOFUHEE and Hylium Join Forces to Deepen Hydrogen Energy Collaboration and Expand Presence in East Asian Market

September 15, 2025 - GUOFUHEE and Hylium Industries, INC. (hereinafter referred to as “Hylium”) officially signed a cooperation agreement, marking a key step in the strategic expansion within the East Asian hydrogen market for GUOFUHEE. The collaboration aims to develop hydrogen production, storage, and transportation systems and solutions for the Korean market, laying a core framework for deepening business operations in Korea and surrounding regions.

As a leading integrated solutions provider in Chinese hydrogen equipment industry, GUOFUHEE possesses strong capabilities in R&D, large-scale production, and application adaptation, along with stable hydrogen supply resources and overseas export capacity. These strengths complement the local expertise in the Korean market for Hylium. With years of experience, Hylium has a deep understanding of industrial policies and market demands, along with mature technologies in cryogenic storage, hydrogen liquefaction, and hydrogen transportation infrastructure. As Korea’s hydrogen supply chain undergoes rapid upgrades, diversified cooperation is urgently needed to enhance supply stability. The hydrogen sector, backed by policy support, a complete industrial chain, and production advantages in China, has become an ideal partner for regional collaboration, providing a solid foundation for this partnership. Leveraging Korea’s hydrogen policies and market influence, this cooperation not only addresses local demands but also paves the way for GUOFUHEE to expand into surrounding markets.

The two parties have reached a consensus on capital and industrial synergy. In terms of capital, GUOFUHEE plans to participate in Hylium’s future financing projects, aiming to strengthen their deep integration within the hydrogen industry ecosystem through capital interweaving. On the industrial front, they intend to establish a joint venture in Korea to actively engage in the implementation of key local hydrogen benchmark projects. By leveraging the joint venture’s advantages, they will vigorously expand the liquid hydrogen sales network, building a wide-ranging and efficient sales channel. Additionally, they have set a goal to establish a logistics pathway for transporting liquid hydrogen from Northwest China to the Korean market, ensuring an annual consumption of at least 10,000 tons of liquid hydrogen from Northwest China in Korea by 2027. This effort will contribute to a new pattern and height of transnational synergistic development in the hydrogen industry.

Against the backdrop of accelerating “carbon neutrality,” East Asia has become a core region for global hydrogen energy. This strategic move not zeroes in on domestic needs in Korea but also helps GUOFUHEE integrate into the East Asian industrial chain. Future deepened cooperation will inject momentum into Korea’s hydrogen sector, providing a “model of industrial collaboration” for global energy transition through cross-regional synergy and jointly building a hydrogen ecosystem.
