Guofuhee Collaborates with Singapore Partner to Establish Demonstration Green Hydrogen Refueling Stations
July 17 - Guofuhee Singapore joint venture, HyCee Pte Ltd (hereafter "HyCee"), formally signed a cooperation agreement with Singapore's Green Energy Investment Holdings Private Limited (GEIH). The two parties will collaborate to build Singapore's first green hydrogen refueling station with a capacity of 200 kg/day. Initially, it will provide hydrogen refueling services for garbage trucks, with future plans to expand to ports, logistics, and public transportation sectors. The project will be established through a joint venture company set up by GEIH and HyCee, leveraging their respective strengths to advance project implementation. GEIH will utilize its biomass-to-hydrogen plant in Singapore to supply green hydrogen and manage the operation and maintenance of the hydrogen production system. HyCee will be responsible for site selection, design, construction, and operation of the refueling station, ensuring smooth project progression. Through this collaboration, both parties are committed to achieving carbon reduction and sustainable development goals in Singapore's transportation sector. GEIH is a subsidiary of Singapore-listed company H2G Green Ltd, whose business focuses on renewable energy solutions. H2G Green develops and promotes renewable energy technologies like solar and wind power, providing clean and sustainable energy solutions for customers. GEIH specializes in hydrogen energy solutions, with its flagship project being Singapore's biomass-to-hydrogen facility located in the western region. This refueling station collaboration follows Guofuhee's 2024 signing of a Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) contract with GEIH for a Singapore biomass-syngas-to-hydrogen project, where it provided hydrogen solutions and supplied related process equipment. It represents a deepening of cooperation to jointly expand downstream applications in the hydrogen industry chain. This partnership marks a critical milestone in Guofuhee's strategic deployment in Southeast Asia's hydrogen market. Guofuhee's electrolytic hydrogen production equipment, liquid hydrogen storage/transport solutions, and vehicle hydrogen supply systems will undergo real-world application and validation under Singapore's climatic conditions. The two parties innovatively adopted a "synergistic model integrating waste-to-hydrogen production with vehicle operations." This not only provides new decarbonization solutions for Singapore's environmental and transportation sectors but also establishes a green benchmark for Guofuhee within the global hydrogen industry chain. Moving forward, both parties will strictly adhere to Singapore government guidelines to steadily advance safety assessments, environmental permit applications, and demonstration operation plans, driving the project's successful implementation.
