Following the launch of the Global Hydrogen Equipment Base and the Hydrogen Operation Excellence Strategy, GUOFUHEE has established manufacturing bases and hydrogen operation companies in Europe, Australia and the Middle East to capitalize on the global hydrogen energy market opportunities, and to promote the development of innovative green energy projects with partners from all around the world. On August 9, 2023, Mr. Wu Pinfang, Chairman of Jiangsu Guofu Hydrogen Energy Equipment Co., Ltd. ("GUOFUHEE") and Ms. Sophia Ng, Director of Australian Institute of Professional Technique ("AIPT"), signed a school-enterprise cooperation agreement in Melbourne, Australia with the main objective of addressing the challenges of global climate change and carbon emissions, and expanding the global hydrogen energy industry deployment of GUOFUHEE. The two parties will work together to train hydrogen energy talents by leveraging their respective strengths. The two sides propose to establish a hydrogen energy technology institute at AIPT's Melbourne Campus, specializing in the training of high-quality and versatile technical talents as well as professional and skillful frontline workers, which will help the company to build an internationalized talent pool, ensure the stable and sustainable development of its global workforce, and lay a solid foundation for building international market competitiveness and implementing the globalization strategy of GUOFUHEE. The agreement stipulates that GUOFUHEE will provide professional teaching and training for the hydrogen energy technology institute, and deeply integrate the talents with the industry through the application of technology, and refer the qualified trainees to job opportunities in hydrogen energy industry all over the world. AIPT will award certificates and valid diplomas in energy technology and safety accredited by Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA). As a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) for vocational education and technical training, AIPT meets the requirements of ASQA and the 2015 Vocational Education and Training (VET) Quality Framework. On August 3, 2023, Mr. Wu Pinfang, Chairman of Jiangsu Guofu Hydrogen Energy Equipment Co., Ltd. ("GUOFUHEE"), Ryan Wong, CEO of Evvo Labs, and Goh Lay Poh, representative of Xindongxin Corporate Management Company, signed the Hydrogen Energy Project Strategic Cooperation Agreement at Hilton Singapore Orchard. According to the agreement, the three parties will jointly invest and establish a joint venture company in Singapore to build a new pattern of market development in Southeast Asia by relying on GUOFUHEE's technological advantages in the hydrogen industry chain. Based on the local market of Singapore, the joint venture will lead the development of hydrogen energy projects in Malaysia, Vietnam, the Philippines, Indonesia and other ASEAN countries. Hydrogen energy, as an abundant, green, low-carbon and widely used secondary energy source, is gradually becoming one of the major carriers of the global energy transition. At the Singapore International Energy Week 2022, Lawrence Wong, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance of Singapore announced the launch of Singapore's National Hydrogen Strategy, which will develop hydrogen energy as a key decarbonization pathway in support of Singapore's international climate commitment to achieve net zero emissions by 2050. The Strategy sets out to develop low-carbon hydrogen as a key decarbonization route to support Singapore's accelerated transition to net-zero emissions by 2050, while enhancing Singapore's energy security and resilience. ADNOC is an early mover in the production of clean hydrogen, and the station under development in Masdar City will support the UAE National Hydrogen Strategy. Abu Dhabi, UAE – July 18, 2023: ADNOC, today announced that it has begun construction on the Middle East's first high-speed hydrogen refueling station. The station, which is being built in Masdar City by ADNOC, will create clean hydrogen from water, using an electrolyser powered by clean grid electricity. Hydrogen, which creates no carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions when used, has the highest energy per mass of any fuel and can give vehicles a longer driving range and quicker refueling times compared with battery electric vehicles. ADNOC also announced a partnership with Toyota Motor Corporation (Toyota) and Al-Futtaim Motors to test the high-speed hydrogen refueling station using a fleet of clean hydrogen-powered vehicles. His Excellency Dr. Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology and ADNOC Managing Director and Group CEO, said: “The need to reduce carbon emissions to address climate change is clear and urgent. ADNOC is placing sustainability and decarbonization at the heart of its strategy and, while we decarbonize our operations today, we are making robust investments to be a supplier of choice for the clean energies of tomorrow. “Hydrogen will be a critical fuel for the energy transition, helping to decarbonize economies at scale, and it is a natural extension of our core business. Through this pilot program, we will gather important data on how hydrogen transportation technology performs as we continue to develop the UAE's hydrogen infrastructure.” Under the partnership, Toyota and Al Futtaim Motors will provide a fleet of hydrogen-powered vehicles. The pilot program will help ADNOC understand how hydrogen with high-speed refueling can best be used in mobility projects to support the UAE's National Hydrogen Strategy, which aims to position the country among the largest producers of hydrogen by 2031. ADNOC Distribution will operate the station upon its completion later this year. A second station, in Dubai Golf City, will be fitted with a conventional hydrogen fueling system. ADNOC has allocated $15 billion (AED55 billion) to advance and accelerate lower-carbon solutions, investing in new energies and decarbonization technologies to reduce its carbon intensity by 25% by 2030 and enable its Net Zero by 2050 ambition.
Recently, Jiangsu Guofu Hydrogen Energy Equipment Co., Ltd. ("GUOFUHEE") has received good news that the company's 1000Nm³/h alkaline water electrolyzer has successfully obtained the CE certificate and report issued by TÜV Rheinland, an international independent third-party testing, inspection and certification authority. In addition, GUOFUHEE's other key products, such as post-processing modules, are being certified, contributing to GUOFUHEE's leading position in the green hydrogen sector. 1000Nm³/h Alkaline Water Electrolyzer CE Certificate The CE certificate is the result of GUOFUHEE R&D team's continuous efforts. This certification means that the overall safety performance of GUOFUHEE alkaline water electrolysis hydrogen generation system complies with EU norms with globally advanced safety technology, and can be sold in EU countries and other countries that recognize the CE certification. This significant milestone serves as GUOFUHEE's "visa" to access the European market, and proves GUOFUHEE's ability in international market to provide customers with more reliable and efficient green hydrogen equipment solutions. Hydrogen energy, as an abundant, green, low-carbon and widely used secondary energy source, is gradually becoming one of the major carriers of the global energy transition. More and more countries have formulated national hydrogen energy strategies, and the European Union has clearly specified in the European Hydrogen Strategy that hydrogen energy shall be developed progressively to reduce the cost of hydrogen production from renewable energy sources, and to promote the decarbonization of the economy through the large-scale application of green hydrogen, in order to achieve the overall climate goals. The development of the hydrogen industry, and in particular green hydrogen, is one of the most effective measures to achieve zero net carbon emissions and carbon peaking and carbon neutrality.
