October 13, 2025 - GUOFUHEE has officially signed an agreement with GF HYDROGEN AFRICA to jointly advance the Agadir Green Hydrogen Project in Morocco.

As a company specializing in the design, manufacturing, and technical services of hydrogen equipment across the entire industry chain - from production and storage to transportation and application - GUOFUHEE will provide the project’s core technology: a Residential Hydrogen Energy Storage System. This system is tailored to meet the daily energy demands of hotels with precision. GF HYDROGEN AFRICA, leveraging its local industrial resources and market expertise, will oversee the project’s on-the-ground implementation. This collaboration builds on a solid foundation of complementary strengths. Earlier, GUOFUHEE partnered with GF HYDROGEN AFRICA and another Morocco organization - EHTP Institute to establish a Center of Excellence for Clean Hydrogen. The current hotel project marks a significant step forward in the two parties’ strategic expansion of hydrogen energy applications in Morocco.
To ensure equipment quality and project success, a dual-phase verification process - “Factory Testing + On-Site Acceptance” - has been established. All equipment must pass rigorous performance tests before leaving the factory, and joint on-site inspections will be conducted after installation to verify alignment with project requirements. The collaboration also allows flexibility for future scaling of green hydrogen applications in the hotel sector, supporting the broader adoption of this technology.
This agreement represents a key breakthrough for GUOFUHEE in overseas hotel applications of hydrogen energy. It is set to create a demonstration model of green hydrogen utilization in the hotel industry for Morocco and the wider African region. The project’s emphasis on sustainable accommodation solutions will also offer valuable insights for Morocco’s green hosting of the 2030 FIFA World Cup, contributing to the development of zero-carbon infrastructure around the event.
Moving forward, the two partners will work closely to ensure the project’s successful implementation, supporting the region’s transition to a low-carbon energy landscape. This initiative will also provide practical experience for cross-regional, scenario-based collaborations in the global hydrogen energy sector.
