October 25, 2025 - Jiangsu Guofu Hydrogen Energy Technology Equipment Co., Ltd. (“GUOFUHEE”) and PT. Batam Teknogi Gas (“PT. BTG”) have officially signed a strategic cooperation agreement on hydrogen energy in Singapore. The collaboration will focus on advancing hydrogen energy initiatives in Malaysia, Singapore, and Indonesia, leveraging industrial synergy to drive low-carbon economic development in the region and support the realization of global carbon neutrality goals.

PT. BTG, founded by industrial gas and manufacturing entrepreneur Hendri, is a leading provider of industrial and medical gas solutions in Batam. With multiple international ISO certifications, the company brings years of experience in gas offtake and transportation across Indonesia and Malaysia. Its established hydrogen offtake capabilities in Singapore will also enable GUOFUHEE to meet local demand for liquid hydrogen services.
Singapore’s “Smart Nation 2025” initiative aims to establish the country as an Asia-Pacific computing hub by 2030. Under the DC-CFA pilot program, data center operators are required to submit sustainable energy supply plans, making the “green hydrogen + green power” model a key focus in the market. Leveraging PT. BTG’s resources, GUOFUHEE will deploy an integrated market approach - combining cross-regional green hydrogen supply chain coordination, modular hydrogen power generation, and AI-driven energy efficiency management - to meet the clean energy needs of digital infrastructure projects.
As a comprehensive hydrogen equipment and solution provider in China, GUOFUHEE possesses core capabilities across the entire hydrogen value chain, including production, storage, transportation, refueling, and application. The company has already laid the groundwork for regional collaboration through earlier projects, such as a joint venture green hydrogen refueling station in Singapore and a liquid hydrogen project in Malaysia.
The newly signed agreement centers on liquid hydrogen offtake and cross-regional distribution, with plans for multi-dimensional collaboration:
PT. BTG will lead distribution for the liquid hydrogen plant. Once operational, a portion of the output will supply hydrogen refueling stations in Malaysia, while the remainder will be distributed across Indonesia, Malaysia, and Singapore, building a stable offtake network.
The two parties will jointly invest in a hydrogen production plant in Indonesia.
PT. BTG will procure key equipment from GUOFUHEE, including liquid hydrogen transport tank containers and integrated refueling station systems, to support the distribution network.

This partnership marks a significant step in GUOFUHEE’s expansion into Southeast Asia’s hydrogen market. Moving forward, both companies will deepen their collaboration to accelerate the development of a low-carbon energy ecosystem and promote high-quality growth in the regional hydrogen industry.
