Launch for India | ADVAIT Order Fulfillment, Guofuhee Deepening Green Hydrogen Synergy Network in Southeast Asia
On February 25, Guofuhee achieved the first overseas business milestone of 2025. The first batch of 1MW ALK water electrolysis hydrogen production equipment destined for demonstration purposes at Advait Energy Transitions Limited, headquartered in Ahmedabad, India, was successfully shipped from Zhangjiagang. The head of Guofuhee overseas business stated: "India is one of the core markets in our overseas strategic blueprint. We are steadily building and optimizing our overseas industrial chain expansion business model by exporting technology while adopting localized production strategies." The delivered 1MW system will serve two key purposes. First, it will act as the first demonstration platform for Chinese hydrogen production equipment under the high-temperature and high-humidity conditions in India, accumulating equipment degradation data to optimize subsequent product designs. Second, it will integrate with Advait's local storage and transportation facilities for testing, providing a technical model for decarbonization upgrades in key industries across India. This shipment not only marks the first substantive project implemented since the signing of the strategic agreement between the two parties but also represents an important validation attempt by Guofu Hydrogen Energy in applying the "technology synergy + localized manufacturing" model in the Indian market. It lays a solid foundation for further cooperation between the two sides and jointly advancing the development of green energy sector in India. Advait Energy Transitions Limited is a renowned solutions and equipment provider in the fields of power transmission, substations, and telecommunications infrastructure and is a well-known publicly listed company on the Bombay Stock Exchange in India. Over the past year, Advait has actively transitioned into the hydrogen energy sector and quickly reached a strategic cooperation consensus with Guofu Hydrogen Energy. Leveraging its deep industry experience, Advait Group successfully secured a bid under Indian Strategic Interventions for Green Hydrogen Transition (SIGHT) program and received government subsidies for the manufacture and order of 300MW electrolyzers, underscoring its leading position in India's hydrogen energy industry. Advait and Guofuhee will collaborate closely, planning to jointly establish an electrolyzer manufacturing plant in India by 2025. This factory will fully utilize the rich supply chain resources of domestic base of Guofuhee to rapidly achieve localized production and application of electrolyzers in India, aligning with the Indian government’s policy of promoting localization. This marks a substantial step forward in market layout of Guofuhee in India and lays a solid foundation for its deeper engagement in hydrogen energy industry in India. This equipment delivery represents a significant breakthrough for Guofuhee in the Indian market and paves the way for future projects in Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and other regions. As the starting point for overseas market expansion in 2025, the Indian project will provide valuable experience for the positioning in the global hydrogen energy supply chain of Guofuhee and accelerate its global market expansion.
